Welcome to the Millerton Legion Post 178!

Welcome to our Post’s official website. The Millerton American Legion Post was founded by Veterans of the Great War in September of 1927 and since then has continually served the Village of Millerton and the Town of North East since that time. The posts officially assumed the responsibility for carrying on the traditions of the community Memorial Day’s program in 1928 as the community other veterans organization, the Henry Gridley Post 617 of the Grand Army of the Republic was no longer able to do so.
