Post Membership

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE AMERICAN LEGION

Those who have served at least one day of active duty during the periods listed below and have either been honorably discharged or are still serving honorably are eligible for membership.

• April 6th 1917 - November 11th 1918
• December 7th 1941 - December 31st 1946
• June 25th 1950 - January 31st 1955
• December 22, 1961 - May 7th 1975
• August 24th 1982 - July 31st 1984
• December 20th 1989 - January 31st 1990
• August 2nd 1990 - until the cessation of hostilities as determined by the US Government.
