Auxiliary!
We meet at 7PM on the second Thursday of each month at the Post
unless otherwise specified.
The mission of the Ladies Auxiliary
is to:
- To support
The American Legion programs for veterans, young people, and
community
- To provide
for today's needs while being advocates for a brighter
future
- To advance
the understanding of patriotism and responsibility of
citizenship
- To promote
individual integrity and family values
- To ensure as
volunteers, that Auxiliary members continue to be the
leaders in all that is good in this nation today, tomorrow
and for generations to come through serving others
first and not self.
Eligibility
Requirements:
A woman who is
eligible for membership in The American Legion is also eligible
to join the American Legion Auxiliary.
The mother, wife,
daughter, sister, grand-daughter, great-grand-daughter, or
grandmother of members of The American Legion, and deceased
veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during the
listed war era.
Step relatives are also eligible.

1917 - Nov. 11, 1918 (World War I)
- Dec. 7, 1941
- Aug. 15, 1945 Merchant Marines (only eligibility)
- Dec. 7, 1941
- Dec. 31, 1946 (World War II) June 25, 1950 - Jan. 31, 1955
(Korean War)
- Feb. 28,
1961 - May 7, 1975 (Vietnam War)
- Aug. 24,
1982 - July 31, 1984 (Grenada/Lebanon)
- Dec. 20,
1989 - Jan. 31, 1990 (Panama)
- Aug. 2, 1990
to today
If you are under
18 years of age, you are eligible to join as a Junior Member.
Benefits
and Discounts:
Juniors and
Senior members of the American Legion Auxiliary whose dues are
current are eligible for all the benefits listed. Benefits are
subject to change and may not be available in all areas.
